Security Officer

Position SummaryA Security Officers main function is to observe and report. The officer maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees. They detect suspicious activity, monitor the premises and report all incidents in a timely fashion. Weekend availability is a must. Essential Job ResponsibilitiesAct as fist point of contact for residents, guests and staffAccept courier deliveriesSecure deliveries, receive packages, ensure proper secure storage of packages waiting for pick upLog incoming and departing visitorsDeliver a high level of customer service for tenants and guests.Monitor CCTV systemsSecures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting pletes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.Prevent damage or injury by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; deter trespassers.Respond to alarms or calls of plies with all Post Orders for site Use radios andor cell phones to stay in contact with Security personnelCall for Police assistance if necessaryShares knowledge of site responsibilities with new employeesRegulate and monitor building systemsOperate screening machinery including X-ray machines, magnetometers and wands.
