About the job Account Payable and Payroll Specialist Position: Account Payable and Payroll SpecialistEvolution Sports Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account Payable and Payroll Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.As the Account Payable and Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounts payable and payroll processes. This includes processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and employees. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payment to vendors- Manage employee payroll, including processing timesheets, calculating wages, and distributing paychecks or direct deposits- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including tax withholdings and reporting- Reconcile payroll and accounts payable records to maintain accurate financial records- Communicate with vendors and employees to resolve any payment or payroll discrepancies- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes- Generate reports and provide analysis on accounts payable and payroll data- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency in processesQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software- Excellent organizational and time-management skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the success of a growing company, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
