Company Overview:InterDent Service Corporation provides comprehensive dental support and administrative services to over 175 dental practices, employing more than 400 dentists across eight states. These practices, including the Gentle Dental and Blue Oak Dental brands, offer high-quality, patient-centered dental care. Additionally, InterDent operates Capitol Dental Care (CDC), a capitated, value-based care program in Oregon. CDC partners with coordinated care organizations to deliver dental services under the Oregon Health Plan, focusing on preventive care and improving both oral and systemic health for children and low-income patients since 1994.We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise to join our finance team. In this role, you will focus on providing analytical support, developing and maintain financial dashboards, and identifying opportunities to automate reporting.Role SummaryAs a Senior Data Analyst, your initial focus will be on reporting to build a strong understanding of the business. As you progress in the role, you will shift to spending 75% of your time using SQL and Power BI to automate reports, build dashboards and lead other key analytic projects.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Operational Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards, KPIs, and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across finance, operations, and leadership teams.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline data processes, and enhance accuracy.Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze revenue, expenses, patient volume, and operational efficiency to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue optimization strategies.Business Intelligence Tools: Utilize BI tools (Power BI, Looker, or similar) to visualize financial and operational data, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational data by maintaining robust data validation processes.Collaboration with Finance & Operations: Work closely with IT, accounting, and operations teams to develop actionable insights that improve profitability and efficiency.Predictive Analytics & Forecasting: Develop predictive models to support budgeting, financial forecasting, and business growth strategies.Ad-hoc Analysis & Special Projects: Support executive leadership with data-driven recommendations on strategic initiatives and business expansion opportunities.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, or data analytics, preferably in healthcare, dental, or multi-site organizations.Technical Skills:Advanced SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets.Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or similar.Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, VBA a plus).Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.Business Acumen: Strong understanding of healthcare finance and munication & Presentation: Ability to convey data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and commitment to data integrityCompensation Range:$110,000 - $140,000
