Residential HVAC Install Senior Technician

A leading provider of comprehensive heating, cooling, and mechanical solutions is currently seeking a Senior HVAC Installation Technician to join their Residential Install division. Key Responsibilities:- Perform expert-level installation of residential HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.- Install a wide variety of equipment, including heat pumps, gas and oil furnaces, ductless split systems, boilers, and geothermal units.- Operate independently on job sites while actively collaborating with team members as needed.- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior HVAC team members, sharing industry knowledge and best practices.- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation for all installations, including job reports and required paperwork.- Demonstrate strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and customers.- Uphold safety-sensitive standards and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel and clients.Job RequirementsKey Requirements:- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in residential HVAC system installations.- Prior experience with boiler installations is highly preferred.- Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year technical school is beneficial but not required.- Valid and current driver"s license with an insurable driving record.- CFC Certification - Type I and II required; Universal certification is preferred.- High-level proficiency with technology, including the use of iPads and professional email communication.- Commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and a "do it right the first time" mindset.- Strong desire to continuously learn and grow within the HVAC trade.- Ability to work in both independent and team-based environments, with minimal supervision.Key Qualifications:- Demonstrated expertise in residential HVAC installation across a range of system types and complexities.- Proven track record of excellent customer service and commitment to client satisfaction.- Experience mentoring or training less experienced technicians.- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and participate in ongoing technical training.- Adherence to workplace safety protocols and procedures, particularly within safety-sensitive environments.
