Aronimink is ranked #28 of the Top 150 Platinum Golf & Country Clubs of the World. Aronimink Golf Club is set to hold the prestigious 2026 PGA Championship.We offer staff meals (lunch and dinner), employee uniforms, employee golf play days, and a friendly, engaging work environment.Golf Patio Server Functions:Greeting Members: Welcome Members with a warm and friendly demeanor and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.Menu Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings, to offer informed recommendations and cater to individual preferences.Order Taking: Accurately take and process guests' food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are properly noted, using our Point of Sale system, NorthStar.Table Service: Deliver orders promptly and elegantly, adhering to our service standards, while maintaining a polished appearance and professional composure.Upselling: Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or premium beverages, to enhance the Members' dining experience and contribute to revenue growth.Member Engagement: Engage with Members during their meal, addressing any concerns or inquiries, and proactively anticipating their needs to provide a seamless dining experience.Table Maintenance: Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as flatware, glassware, and condiments.Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to maintain a smooth and efficient dining service.Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.Responsibly serves alcohol to guests, ensuring they are of ageFollow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conductNotifies and reports any problems or concerns to managementRAMP Certification is preferred; the Club will provide certificationReports to the Food and Beverage Manager (s)Essential Requirements:•Must be at least 18 years old•High School Diploma or Equivalent•Possess basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.•Possess good communication and guest relation skills•Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays•Regular and predictable attendance.•Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times•Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.•Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance•Must be able to multi-task several different actions at once.•Must be able to follow directions, read, and write•Experience with a full-service country club operation preferredJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalSalary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:Full-Time Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental InsuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceTeam MealsUniformsPart-Time Benefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleTeam MealsUniformsSchedule:10-hour shift8-hour shiftDay shiftEvening shiftNight shiftWeekendsWe're an equal-opportunity employer.
