Job Posting: Heavy Duty CleanerPosition Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. The primary responsibilities of this role include a variety of cleaning tasks such as dry and wet mopping, high and low dusting, vacuuming, floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, and more. The Heavy Duty Cleaner will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) areas, contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for our guests.Responsibilities:•Operate various floor care equipment skillfully and maintain equipment in good workingcondition.•Use chemicals appropriately, following guidelines for dispensing, labeling, and handling.•Handle biohazard calls, clean mirrors, doors, office areas, public spaces, break areas,and perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned.•Display a positive attitude and enthusiasm in daily tasks, maintaining a professionaldemeanor.•Interact with guests courteously, offering assistance and displaying excellent customerservice.•Communicate responsibly and effectively via radio for service calls and interactions withother departments.•Work in both smoking and nonsmoking areas, ensuring cleanliness in all designatedspaces.•Maintain constant awareness of safety protocols, promptly reporting accidents andincidents.•Adhere to company, department, and regulatory policies and procedures.•Exhibit dependability in completing assignments and following through on jobresponsibilities.•Maintain confidentiality of any disclosed proprietary information and uphold casinostandards.•Show respect for all team members and display a willingness to learn and collaborate.Qualifications:•Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred.•Ability to operate floor care equipment.•Strong attention to detail and efficiency in completing tasks.•Excellent communication and customer service skills.•Report to work on time, demonstrate flexibility with schedules and assigned duties, andfollow call-off policies when necessary.Certifications:•Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License.
