POSITION SUMMARYThe General Manager collaborates with the Assistant Store Manager of Operations in theoperations of the range, firearms and clothing retail and in all services related, includingclasses and special events as needed. The General Manager will supervise retail sales,sales staff, inventory, and all functions within the facility. The GM is responsible for ensuringall Compliance procedures are understood and followed by their team.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Achieve Results Identifies current and future client requirements through established rapport.Keeps merchandise orderly, in stock and secure.Maintains staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees through planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Complete annual reviews on direct reports.Coordinate and facilitate with Human Resources through the hiring process for open job positions in the store.Executes a sales pace that is commensurate with company goals. Manage and assist on the sales floor as necessary. Review and analyze sales numbers daily to ensure goals are being met. Conduct appropriate follow-up.Coordinate with receiving department to ensure all product is tagged and placed on sales floor in a timely manner.Coordinate and conduct weekly inventory counts. Ensure inventory numbers are accurate. Conduct inventory transfer inout as needed.Coordinates schedules in all areas-supervise maintenance of preferred staffing levels within payroll budget.Ensure that cash drawers are ready daily. Maintain cash in safe. Manage weekly deposits and change orders. Ensure that any discrepancy in cash balances through the POS are rectified.Work closely with Compliance to ensure appropriate training and implementation of all Firearm SOP's are communicated and carried out from the General Manager down to all associates.Operational Excellence Regularly review inventory and minimize lossMaintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with all legal and health requirements.Ensures the range and facility are clean and safeEvaluate inventory level and ordersProblem solves during peak times to ensure customer satisfactionWork with Managers to build, implement and supervise training materials, training sessions and completion of training programsWork with Inventory and Merchandising to plan store layout and displays to simplify customer shopping and promote salesUtilize POS reporting tools for data-based decisions.Ensure that fliers, promo materials and signage are up to date, distributed and displayed.Ensure safety of associates and clients in store by adhering to OSHA safety standards as well as all Standard operating procedures.Ensure merchandise is run and storage rooms are clean and organized.Relationships Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the entire organization.Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with key resources, including external vendors, suppliers, and municate with ASMO on topics needing attention to improve overall store operationsCollaborate on facilitation of classes, special events and promos with appropriate team members.Be an effective team player and leader to assist in driving the core values and focus of Frontier Justice.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS KEY COMPETENCIES Monitor the budget in relation to staffing and inventory Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed accurately and in a timely manner Supervision and coaching of sales staff to maximize profits Firm grasp of technology to execute accurate job function Consistent presence on sales floor. Representing and upholding Frontier Justice's core values, mission statement and brand position RequirementsEDUCATIONHigh school diploma required, with college hours preferred.EXPERIENCEMinimum 3-5 years of retail managementOTHER Normal overtimeextended work hours Must be able to physically audit and inspect all operations Salary Description Starting at $55,000 annually
