This individual will report to a Senior Manager and will work closely with the Treasury department, maintaining cash balances and cash accounts in various systems. The ideal candidate will have Kyriba cash management and GL system experience, which are both regularly used in this role for treasury, cash and GL reconciliation activities. The Accounting Supervisor will manage other accounting staff and will work closely with various senior and staff accountants performing general ledger analysis and account reconciliations, assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly closing entries, and prepare financial analysis reports. Key Responsibilities:Assist in all day-to-day accounting activities, including posting of accounting transactions, monitoring and maintaining daily and monthly cash activities and balancesManage and mentor accounting staffReviewprepare daily liquidity updateManage corporate cash receipts processReview monthly bank reconciliations completed in KyribaPrepare monthly and quarterly closing entriesReview general ledger balances for completeness, accuracy and account classification.Prepare general ledger account reconciliationsPerform detailed analysis of general ledger account fluctuationsSupport quarter-end and year-end review and audit process; addressing auditor inquiries and preparing and providing support details and analysisPerform ad-hoc reports and analysis as assignedRequirements:BS in Accounting 7+ years of accounting experienceExtensive Microsoft Office Suite experience, specifically in Excel Public accounting andor recent real estate experience preferred. Commercial real estate experience is a plus.Kyriba cash managementGL reconciliation experience strongly preferredMRI knowledge a plusPeople management experienceStrong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, as well the ability to focus on meeting deadlinesMust thrive in a fast paced, team environment and be flexible regarding ad hoc reporting and possess the ability to form strong working relationships throughout the organization The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000.
