You will be responsible for helping us enhance our financial and operational processes, support strategic decision-making, and implement innovative solutions to drive company growth. This role will work closely with our Head of Strategy & Operations.At ScorePlay you will be joining a growing company, take ownership and autonomy of your work, and contribute to building a product that changes the sports media landscape. We will provide you with a range of tools here at ScorePlay such as Linear, Notion, Claap and Discord to help you with your work.The positionAs a Strategy & Operations Intern at ScorePlay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and direction of our company. Working closely with the Strategy and Operations team and other teams across functions (e.g., Sales, Customer Success, People, Marketing), you will be responsible for the development and implementation of financial processes, empowering teams with new tools, and assisting the CEO on many ad-hoc projects (e.g., fundraising, event preparation).This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, while contributing to the growth and success of an innovative company.Why would you want this role?You will be part of a fast-growing SaaS startup with tremendous market-altering potentialYou will be given the ability to quickly develop and own part of the team's workYou will solve strategic problems dailyYou will have the ability to make impactful decisions that shape the company's strategyYou will work in a highly desirable field, supporting renowned sports organizationsKey Responsibilities:Financial Management & Analysis:Manage and streamline billing processes to ensure timely incoming cash flow, including creating invoice subscriptions and monitoring paymentsCollaborate with Head of Strategy and Operations to establish and optimize financial processesAssist in monitoring and controlling expenses by analyzing spending patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to optimize resource allocationData Analysis & Strategic Insights:Prepare regular financial reports and presentations to provide insights into the company's financial performance andor assist in decision-makingPerform ad-hoc analyses of various company data sets (financial, CRM, expenses, tech logs) to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and support various strategic initiativesOperational Efficiency:Update and optimize our usage of tools and processes to ensure maximal productivity across teamsLiaise with teams across functions to help them achieve their objectives through new tools or improved processesQualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, or related field.Prior internship or work experience in finance or strategy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.Passion for sports and technology is a plus.Duration and Compensation: This is a 6-month internship position from: Aug 15, 2025 to Feb 28, 2026Based in NYC, USA$42,000.00 per annumVisa and immigration related fees covered by the company.
