The ever-changing eCommerce landscape is evolving at a pace that demands that you must possess adaptability, quick-thinking, and a thirst for rapid-fire learning. Night Market is at the forefront of defining what (and how) our clients need to succeed and innovate across all facets of online commerce, and this individual will be instrumental in supporting that mission.The Associate Director, Commerce Media will report into the Director, Commerce Media, and will lead the day-to-day with clients. This individual will work closely with cross-functional Horizon Media and Night Market teams and should be comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively while simultaneously delivering best-in-class work in media strategy and data analytics.Who You AreYou will connect and have direct access with the client's sales teams. You will need a strong business acumen and superior client service skills. You will also need to and enjoy understanding how to create & covert demand, along with winning the sales through innovative strategies and diving into the data.What You'll DoDigital Media Strategy - 80%Craft eCommerce media strategy and retail media plansLeverage Horizon Media's suite of planning, evaluation and buying tools for applicationanalysis into competitive landscape, target digital consumption support, plan development and reporting Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goalsCreate media specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions Lead brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development with the intention of bringing great ideas to life Oversee and support Managers, Specialists and Assistant roles - have prior managerial skills and have overseen a team of at least 3+ people beforeThought leadership on all aspects of eCommerce and digital media strategy and media measurementReporting & Analysis - 20%Monitor and report on media campaigns on an ongoing basis, providing an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams, media partners and the clientDetermining set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each initiativeUse learnings drawn from data to draw thoughtful, data-based conclusions that illustrates the 'why' behind performance, and maps back to digital strategyPreferred Skills & Experience6+ years relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHas previously constructed retail media digital media plans, with understanding of planning, buying and activationExpert in developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding digital media account projects, acting as a client contactNegotiation and Rate benchmarking a nice to haveExpert in eRetailer - MUST have experience working with Walmart andor TargetExpertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointNice to Have:Experience with retail bid management platforms, such as Pacvue or Skai.Retailers including Amazon, Club, Best Buy, The Home Depot, Lowe's and Ulta.Working knowledge of CriteoNegotiation and Rate benchmarkingWorking knowledge of eCommerce measurement approaches as well as understanding attribution windows & other metrics in the Commerce Media spaceCertificates, Licenses and RegistrationsnaPhysical Activity and Work Environmentna#LI-HYBRID#LI-KG1#HMNMThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
