Hybrid Wireless Construction Engineer

Construction EngineerLocation: Irvine, CAWork Setup: Hybrid - 2 times a week in officeAbout the RoleOur telecommunications company is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to manage network infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. The Construction Engineer will oversee multiple simultaneous projects from proposal to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.Construction Engineer Responsibilities Manage construction activities for macro builds, small cells, and mod projects throughout Southern California Create bid packages and manage the RFP process for Construction Engineer projects Request and manage purchase orders for network infrastructure construction Review, approve, and process change orders for Construction Engineer projects Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by effectively managing general contractors Submit regulatory filings related to cell site construction Maintain project trackers and provide regular status updates to management Collaborate with AEs, Real Estate, Utility Coordinators, City Inspectors, Field Operations, and RF Engineers Conduct regular job site visits, bid walks, pre-construction meetings with landlords and general contractors Perform utility walks and pre-walks as necessary for Construction Engineer responsibilities Report to the Irvine office minimum twice per week, with additional visits for face-to-face meetings Participate in regular calls to discuss project statusConstruction Engineer Qualifications Proven experience in wireless network (cell site) construction Strong financial management skills from initial proposalbid through project completion Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency Technical aptitude with computers and project management tools Ability to interface effectively with vendors via calls and meetings Experience with schedule and financial management in construction Strong communication skills to provide regular updates and collaborate with various stakeholdersWhy Join Our Team as a Construction Engineer?As a Construction Engineer, you'll play a vital role in expanding our telecommunications infrastructure across Southern California.
