Category Construction Description Project ManagerThis position is with Revcon, Inc. a project management company specializing in residential turns. The Project Manager will Plan, direct, or coordinate, through subcontractors and subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the renovation and maintenance of residential properties. Participate in the conceptual development of a renovation project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.Basic Skills Be able to estimate the scope of work needed for projects Basic Math skills Being able to measure and calculate square footage Able to manage others Effective communication skills Able to use a project management softwareSocial Skills Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions. Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences. Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.Resource Management Skills Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies.
