The Quality Control Engineer will also provide feedback regarding observations and process improvement needs.Essential FunctionsSupports the application of Balfour Beatty's standard operating procedures at the projectReviews subcontractors' work for compliance with specifications, applicable codes and contract requirements.Conducts inspections, testing and productProvides technical support to the project management team, the Quality Manager and subcontractors.Supports the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions in theIdentifies issues and trends occurring on the projects that may impact the effectiveness of Balfour Beatty to provide quality product and high levels of customerSupports the program of continuous improvement at the project, which effectively measures performance, addresses deficiencies, and prevents recurrence ofMaintains appropriate feedback mechanisms that ensure all quality-related information is communicated from the project quality representatives to other members of the project teams throughout the term of the project.Participates in project reviews to assess the application and effectiveness of company standard operating procedures, subcontractor processes and procedures and identifies any opportunities for improvement.Analyzes issues, determines root cause, develops and implements corrective and preventive actions and assesses performance measures against establishedParticipates in close-out processes to confirm all quality related issues have been resolved and provides feedback on lessons learned so they can be incorporated in future.Promote Customer RelationsBuilds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer'sActively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance companyCulture, Leadership and Employee DevelopmentPromotes our Creed.
