The Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Service is critical to the lifesaving work we do at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, providing timely diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning of diseases in companion animals. As a Diagnostic Imaging technician, you'll operate our computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to obtain quality images for our radiologists and other board-certified specialists across the hospital.Diagnostic Imaging technicians work together as a team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. While one technician is scanning and capturing images, another technician functions as a primary anesthetist and monitors the patient. Our technicians are excellent communicators and collaborators who work with multiple departments at AMC and coordinate multiple imaging procedures each day.
