If you have a passion for diagnosing and repairing complex systems, ensuring customer satisfaction, and growing your technical expertise, this is the opportunity for you!This position requires travel and participation in an on-call rotation every four weeks. A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel. At Morris, you'll find challenging work, rewarding experiences, and the opportunity to make a difference in the communities we serve.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair HVACR systems, including commercial air conditioning units, and refrigeration stall and maintain HVACR systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with local and national codes.Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability and efficiency.Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment malfunctions using schematics and diagrams.Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction with all services provided.Utilize a company-provided vehicle for job site travel and ensure timely arrival at service locations.Participate in an on-call rotation every four weeks, responding to urgent service needs.Utilize a company-provided van for travel to job sites.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance and repairs.Operate and maintain tools and machinery, including welding equipment, safely and efficiently.Ensure possession and proper use of basic hand tools required for the job.Work in diverse environments, adapting to varying temperatures and conditions.Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working on-site.QualificationsKentucky Journeyman License.(Preferred) EPA certification or Universal EPA Certification (Required).Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Proven experience with HVACR systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Familiarity with schematics, diagrams, and ammonia refrigeration systems (preferred).Knowledge of local and national HVACR codes and regulations.Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle heavy machinery safely.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.BenefitsCompensation Perks:401(k) Retirement Savings Program (with employer matching).Weekly pay cycle, overtime potential, and project completion bonuses.Referral bonus program and performance-based rewards.Health and Wellness:Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.Annual $200 boot voucher for technicians.Work-Life Balance:Paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick days).Travel project opportunities with per diem.Volunteer Time Off (VTO).Career Development:Manufacturer training, OSHA certification, fall protection, lift training, and more.Personal tool replacement program and paid journeymanEPA examination costs.Tech package with smartphone or tablet provided.Unique Perks:Company-provided vehicle for project leads and technicians.Uniforms, including safety gear and work apparel, provided.Work ScheduleFull-time, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties every four weeks.Based in Kentucky, with travel required to client job sites as necessary.Work LocationBased in Kentucky, with travel to client job sites as required.Join Our TeamMorris Heating and Cooling is proud to offer a rewarding career path for driven and knowledgeable professionals.
