We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) Regulatory Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, reporting requirements, and business processes within the financial services industry. This role requires the candidate to work in a hybrid setup, with 3 days onsite in either New York City or Chicago. Responsibilities: Analyze and document business requirements for CFTC regulatory reporting projects.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and define reporting workflows.Ensure compliance with CFTC regulations, including Dodd-Frank and other applicable frameworks.Review and validate reports to meet regulatory standards and deadlines.Work closely with IT teams to define technical specifications for system enhancements or fixes.Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful implementation of solutions.Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including BRDs and process flows.Support the ongoing maintenance of reporting systems and address regulatory changes promptly.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in regulatory reporting, specifically CFTC -depth knowledge of CFTC regulations, including swaps, futures, and derivative reporting.Familiarity with GTR (Global Trade Repository), SDR (Swap Data Repository), and associated processes.Strong understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives, commodities, and securities.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.Experience with regulatory reporting tools and platforms is a plus.Local candidates only (NYC or Chicago) - relocation assistance is not provided.
