26479 - Technical Sales Representative - San Diego

Our client is currently looking for a Sales Representative to be based in or near San Diego and will cover the Southwest territory. This person will be responsible for selling SPE consumables and Mass Spec Analytical Instrumentation. You'll call on Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Academic accounts as well as CRO, Clinical, Forensics, and Government accounts. You'll be managing existing accounts as well as developing new business. Requirements: 3 years of previous laboratory Sales experience in the life science, research, and development markets Previous experience with Solid Phase Extraction and analytical instrumentation HPLC Mass Spec (LCMS andor GCMS) instrumentation experience B.S. Analytical Chemistry or related field of study Ability to travel 3-5 days a week in the field & 3-6 overnight month Strong presentation, analytical, and customer service skills complimented by an aggressive and solutions-oriented track record Excellent communication and organizational skills Located in the San Diego area Our Client is a worldwide leading provider of Chromatography products to biopharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.
