Job DescriptionThe Member Center Network Regional Director has leadership responsibility for WPCU's retail branch network. This position is the most senior leadership position within their specific region in the Member Center Network structure. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive Member Center strategies and effective, efficient operations thus delivering a dynamic and well-integrated member experience. The Member Center Network Regional Director must be collaborative, a good communicator, hardworking, and a servant leader who is aligned with WPCU's service orientation and results-driven culture.Ensures strategic retail delivery operations plans and goals are developed and successfully executed in order to maximize the value to members and optimize revenue and growth, while appropriately balancing risk. (20%)Ensures Member Centers are operating efficiently and reliably, are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules, have appropriate operating controls to mitigate risk, and are performing at a high level. Work with all levels of leadership across all lines of business to ensure consistency and stability of operations across the entire Member Center Network as well as the entire Service Delivery Network. (20%)Manages Member Center Network resources to create an extraordinary service culture that balances the interests of the three WPCU stakeholders and exceeds member-owner expectations. (20%)Build and maintain high-performing teams; select, develop, coach, reward and recognize team members to ensure high workforce engagement. Actively participates in setting the vision, strategy, direction, and culture of the MCN operations. Identifies opportunities for growth and development and cultivates strategic plans for the credit union to reach these goals. (10%)Develops and manages approved operating budgets, staffing, capital improvements and member development reports (e.g. loanshare growth, line of business referrals) for their region and takes actions to improve results as appropriate. (10%)Acts as a resource to the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy for their region. (5%)Oversees MCN expansion projects and projects and initiatives that enhance the service delivery within the Member Center Network. Participate in organizational or departmental initiativesprojects as a representative of the department, serving as a consultant or subject matter expert in both departmental and organizational projects. (5%)Represents the credit union in the community, at events, on boards, and actively seeks and supports efforts to expand opportunities within the WPCU markets. (5%)Performs other duties as assigned. (5%)Required SkillsA Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or more than five (5) years' experience in a senior level financial service position; Candidates with non-business degrees may qualify when considerable experience in any of the areas of responsibility is demonstrated.At least five (5) years of experience managing a large complex financial branch or financial operations or large-scale multi-location operation in a financial, retail or hospitality services environment. Demonstrated ability to build outstanding service and sales environments.Demonstrated business management experience to include human resources, budgeting, critical thinking, service excellence, process management, organization, report writing, presentations, business writing, and technology utilization.Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, coach, motivate, and develop competent and effective teams.Demonstrated experienced in community and business development.Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately with others.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems and or design recommendations to accomplish business and tactical goals.
