We offer unparalleled opportunities to lead and manage one of the largest renewable energy businesses with decades of history, while contributing to the global need for sustainable energy.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of asset managers, setting strategic goals for asset performance, reliability, and financial returnDevelop and implement asset management strategies to optimize performanceMonitor and analyze the operational and financial performance of solar energy projects, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including Business Development, E&C, FP&A, Legal, Business Intelligence, HSSE, Tax, Insurance and Risk.Manage O&M service providers to ensure assigned assets meet or exceed the weather adjusted performance targets; monitor assigned assets, identify underperformance and production issues, work with O&M service providers to identify and execute remediationDevelop & manage OPEX budgets, support cost variance analysisManage material project documents associated with assigned projects, including but not limited to Power Purchase Agreement, Interconnection Agreement, Lease Agreement, and Permits; facilitate agreement amendments and assignments as neededEnsure regulatory, interconnection and HSSE compliance; Ensure assets are operated and managed consistent with Luminace's PoliciesSupport financing, M&A, and development initiatives as neededIdentify, develop and onboard new vendors to take on operational tasks within region such as O&M work, MV troubleshooting & repair, vegetation management, etc. Assist FP&A in preparing investor reports, budgets for investors and lenders and resolve any issues or questionsReview, track and approve operating expenses incurred by assetsManage relationships with external key stakeholders, including but not limited to property owners, PPA offtakers, utilities, ISOs, local and federal governments, permitting and regulatory agencies; support host customer's requests as neededProvide timely work products to support management and reporting of operating assetsCollaborate with FP&A and Accounting to ensure accuracy of billing to customers and resolve issues if neededContribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure all procedural, legislative and contract requirements are fulfilledWhere specified, manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activitiesMaintain knowledge of the political and energy market trends within the regions; maintain or establish good working relationship with equipment manufacturers and other key industry playersTrack company driven KPI'sWork with procurement team by participating in RFP's and vendor selection processAssist in the onboarding of new construction projects ensuring that operations have received all key project documents, and the assets are built to Luminace's technical standardsRequirementsDriven, self-starter with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated commitment and participation in developing an accident-free work environmentStrong technical understanding of DG solar system design and operationsStrong knowledge of solar energy project operations, including performance optimization, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Experience with contract management and negotiation.Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret operational dataStrong business acumen and commercial and financial mindsetProven ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary teamExperience in budget preparation and managementAbility to understand financial models and the potential impact of operations on investmentsExceptional influence and communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, peers, partners and other stakeholders10% regional travel to assets required,QualificationsAt least 5 years' experience in solar asset management and operationsBachelor's degree in a technical or financial field preferredTechnology savvy, computer skills in MS Office SuiteEnergy asset management experience in distributed generation solarExperience in storage and EV is an asset
