With a focus on improving patient outcomes and empowering healthcare providers, we have built a reputation for delivering scientifically validated and impactful therapies.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the distribution center. This role involves managing people, the facility, inventory, vendor relationships, supply chain logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position will oversee and optimize our supplement, prescription drug wholesale, and DEA operations. The Operations Manager will drive operational efficiency, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. They will collaborate with executive leadership to achieve company goals and ensure the highest level of service and quality in all operations.The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient leader, capable of driving operations efficiency while upholding the highest pharmaceutical industry standards. The individual will need to be a versatile communicator, adept at catering to the strongest drives and behaviors of different team members. They will be critical in balancing conflict and business process decision-making. This role is essential for ensuring regulatory compliance, quality control, and efficient warehouse operations.Requirements** Candidates must have direct experience as an Operations Manager at a pharmaceutical distributor to be considered for this position. Please apply only if you meet this requirement. **Supply Management:Direct end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution logistics.Optimize warehouse network and distribution routes to ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs.Develop and maintain relationships with key pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare providers.Implement cold chain management protocols for temperature-sensitive medications.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA, DEA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations.Act as the designated representative during FDA and Board of Pharmacy inspections.Oversee implementation of track-and-trace systems in accordance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).Maintain proper licensing and accreditation across all facilities.Direct quality assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Operations Management:Lead operational strategy development and execution. Oversee daily operations of the distribution warehouse.Manage operational budgets and capital expenditure planning. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies. Implement and maintain inventory management systems. Oversee general facility management, including maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols.Risk Management:Develop and maintain controlled Substance monitoring programs. Ensure proper insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies. Oversee suspicious order monitoring systems. Direct recall management procedures. Technology and Infrastructure:Guide digital transformation initiatives.Oversee warehouse automation projects.Direct implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Maintain and upgrade facility infrastructure.Team Leadership:Manage operations team (customer service, warehouse, etc.).Oversee workforce planning and development.Foster a culture of safety and compliance.Direct training programs for operational staff.Financial Performance:Drive operational cost optimization.Manage operating expenses within budget.Identify and implement revenue growth opportunities.Collaborate with CFO on financial planning and analysis.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, or related field).8+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical distribution or related industry.10+ years of senior leadership experience.Deep understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain regulations and compliance requirements.Strong track record of operational excellence and process improvement.Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives.Proven ability to lead complex petencies:Strategic thinking and execution.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellence in team leadership and development.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Change management expertise.Risk management and decision-making skills.Financial acumen.Background Check Requirement All offers of employment at Legere Pharmaceuticals are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
