Commercial Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary:The Commercial Electrical Apprentice will assist the Electrician with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.DutiesResponsibilities:Assists with the installation of various electrical system, both indoor and outdoor.Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely stall and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems.Follow all safety procedures.Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.Required SkillsAbilities:Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.Some knowledge of powerline installation and repair of electrical systems.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Excellent mechanical skills.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous commercial electrical experience is preferred but not required.Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test.Physical Requirements:Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job sites throughout the Orlando area.
