Commercial Finance ManagerOur Finance team prides itself on providing cross-functional partnership and collaborationacross the organization. They will be instrumental in closely partneringwith the commercial team in driving commercial decision making to maximize revenue, marketshare and profitability as we scale our omnichannel presence. This role reports to our Head ofFinance.This is a full time, in-personhybrid role (Tues, Weds, Thursday in office) based in Tribeca, this role you'll:•Serve as the primary finance business partner to our sales, marketing, and innovationteams, providing both operational and strategic analysis and insights to drive businessdecisions•Preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews with Sr Leadership as it relates toconsolidated, channelcustomer segment performance analysis & management•Build and maintain financial models to evaluate promotional effectiveness, marketingROI, and overall commercial performance optimization•Partner with the sales team to evaluate customer and channel profitability, optimizeproduct mix, and refine pricing strategies. Own customer- and category-level P&Ls,providing insights to maximize revenue and margin.•Leverage trade promotion planning and management systems in analyzing andmaximizing customer or channel profitability•Lead the monthly business review process for the commercial team, ensuring alignmentbetween financial projections and operational execution. To include aggregation andmanagement of commercial portion of monthly rolling forecast and LV process•Participate as key member of Stagegate with robust financial models for innovation andrenovation agendas, and assisting in driving project P&Ls to meet or beat financialguardrails•Proactively identify and quantity risks & opportunities for the commercial team, toeliminate surprises and raise investment opportunities•Partner with commercial leadership to analyze business opportunities and scenarios onongoing basis•Drive profit & cost optimization initiatives through data-driven analysis andrecommendations•Create and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into key business metrics•Support annual budgeting process and monthly reforecast process•Lead special projects and ad-hoc analysis as-neededRequirements:•5+ years of CPG finance experience, with at least 3+ years focused on commercialfinance•Strong understanding of CPG trade; pricing and promotion planning, customernegotiations, etc.•Strong stakeholder management qualities with cross-functional experience•Strong excel based financial modeling and analysis skills with capability to build agilemodels•Experience with financial reporting and BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Business Central,Looker), industry data tools (e.g., SPINS, IRI, Nielsen) and trade promotion managementsystems (e.g., Modus, Confido) - knowledge of these specific tools are a bonus!•Experience partnering with sales and marketing leadership teams•Proven track record of driving actionable business insights & recommendations throughdata analysis and effective communication skills•Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects at onc
