ABOUT THE ROLE The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is hiring an Executive Assistant to the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) to join its growing Development & Events (D&E) department. Reporting directly to the CPO, this new position will provide crucial support assisting the CPO's scheduling, communications, and other administrative and operational needs, as well as providing support across the D&E department. This role offers an ideal opportunity for a candidate with administrative experience and project management skills with an interest in learning about fundraising from a best-in-class team. This position is based in New York, New York. BCRF currently requires staff to work onsite a minimum of three days per week. Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to BCRF's Chief Philanthropy Officer including preparing documents for timely review, providing administrative and logistics support around department meetings and agenda setting, following up on action items, and related tasks. Manage CPO's calendar, including internal and external meetings, and proactively anticipate any scheduling challenges. Work closely with the Assistant Director, Development & Donor Relations to prepare CPO for donor meetings with necessary materials, donor profiles, and research briefings. Prepare correspondence for CPO and other BCRF leadership in partnership with Assistant Director, Development & Donor Relations. Ensure CPO's meetings and communications are accurately recorded in Raiser's Edge in a timely and consistent manner. Facilitate CPO's internal meeting agendas and ensure consistency in department and direct-report meeting scheduling. Work in cooperation with the BCRF's Finance & Operations Team to complete expense reports for the CPO and ensure associated corporate credit cards are reconciled accurately. Coordinate any travel necessary for the CPO, including flights, accommodations, and other details as needed. Participate in and support cross department fundraising events and strategies, as appropriate Assist as needed with operations and logistics leading up to and during our events. Special projects and other duties as assigned.ABOUT YOU You take pride in your organizational skills and your impeccable attention to detail. You have a passion for the mission and work of BCRF. In addition, you have the following qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree. Minimum of three years working in administrative support roles, ideally in nonprofit organizations. High degree of initiative and resourcefulness, with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced professional environment Ability to develop strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues across the organization Flexible and adaptable, with a positive can-do attitude and a passion for the mission and work of BCRF Ability to lift, move or carry up to 15 lbs on an occasional basis; ability to push or pull a cart weighing up to 15 lbs.)Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time non exempt role. The hourly rate for this role is $28.00 - 30.00 an hour. Our compensation packages includes an exceptional benefits package focusing on employe physical, mental and financial wellness.
