Runner

The Runner is responsible for assisting the restaurant team of servers and managers with delivering food and beverage to guests as required. They maintain the cleanliness of the expo line, organize the tickets, and communicate effectively with the culinary team. This position has an hourly rate of $16.50 + Tips.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with clearing all tablesMaintain a clean front and back of house areaComplete knowledge of our menus and drop linesDeliver all food and beverage as requested following our standards of serviceAlways maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene standardsComplete understanding of allergens and SOPs regarding the handling of guest's allergiesPolish and stock equipment for operation (silverware, linens & glassware)Constant checking, cleaning and maintenance of all Food & Beverage areasReplenish side stations throughout serviceDeliver food from kitchen to floor efficientlyDescribe food items presented to guests when necessaryServe as the liaison between the service staff and kitchen regarding all food information and special requestsWork closely with servers and kitchen on the timing of foodSetting up and closing the expedition station in the kitchenAssist in setting up tables properlyComplete all side work duties per SOPs, including pre-shift, post-shift, daily, weekly and monthly dutiesAlways be presentable in uniform, in compliance with outlet standards and punctualAbility to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessaryAll other responsibilities assigned by ManagementREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSWilling to work a flexible schedule and holidaysPositive, engaging, and energetic personalityAble to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervisionVery high attention to detail and extensive service knowledgeSensitive to cultural nuancesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal in EnglishAble to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environmentAbility to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policiesAbility to stand for extended periods of timeMulti-lingual is a plusTIPS certified preferred
