The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling a facility spanning across Wilmington, CA, and Carson, CA, using a company vehicle. The candidate must have a clean motor vehicle record, a valid CA driver's license, and previous leadership experience is a pensation: $25 hour Shift: up to 40 hours per week Shift varies - Open availability About the job:Patrol the facility regularly using the company vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises.Monitor and inspect the facility's entrances, exits, and parking areas.Enforce facility security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.Respond to emergency situations, alarms, and disturbances quickly and appropriately.Conduct periodic security checks of the premises, including inspecting buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas.Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity or incidents.Provide assistance to visitors and employees, directing them as needed to specific areas.Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols.Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the company vehicle is safe and operational for patrol vestigate and report security breaches, thefts, or vandalism incidents.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with facility staff, visitors, and vendors.Demonstrate leadership skills in overseeing other security personnel if needed.Train new security officers as required and assist in team development.Assist in managing crowd control during facility events or emergencies.Respond to and address any security or safety concerns raised by employees or management.Follow all company policies and procedures related to security and safety operations.Your background:Be authorized to work in the U.S.You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening processYou have a TWIC card - MANDATORY Previous experience in security, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.You have a CA driver's License and clean motor vehicle recordYou have Driving Patrol Experience - 4 years minimum using company vehicleYou have CPR (if available)Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and law enforcement practices.Ability to perform physical security duties such as walking, standing, and possibly lifting.Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a strong attention to detail.You have Driving Patrol Experience Preferred Qualifications:Lead or supervisory experience in a security setting.Familiarity with security systems and surveillance equipment.CPR and First Aid certification.If you want a real career opportunity where you're part of a dynamic supportive team that's dedicated to your success, check us out.
