Project Manager Heavy Highway Construction

A. Colarusso & Son, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager will plan andorganize resources for the successful execution of a project. The Project Manager leads project teams inthe construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, and completion in a timelymanner.Objectives of this role• Oversees construction project from start to finish.• Responsible for obtaining subcontractor estimates and manage subcontractors' progress andschedule.• Provides input and supervises all preconstruction services such as purchase orders,subcontracts, schedules, job costing, and project preplanning.• Works with the management to obtain personnel and equipment resourcesrequired to properly staff the project.• Manages the financial aspects of contracts.• Develops baseline project schedule.• Monitors and reports project cost and schedule performance; recommends corrective actions ifneeded.• Assists Superintendent with problem or conflict resolution.• Manages the scope of work and has mastery of the contract documents.• Participates in project coordination meetings.• Perform or direct submittals to agencies as required for construction of project.• Directs and ensures timely completion of project closeout activities.• Visit Project sites to observe progression.Required skills and qualifications• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Project Management, or related field.Andor five years of managerial and supervisory experience in the heavy highwayconstruction industry.• Extensive knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, scheduling andestimating.• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.• Good computer skills.• Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.• Strong team player.Salary based on experience ranging from $65,000.00 to $150,000.00 Must work overtime as needed.Paid vacation and sick time.
