Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and a proven track record of leading a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. This will be a remotehybrid role.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily accounting operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, general ledger management, accounts payablereceivable, payroll, and reconciliations.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant legalregulatory requirements.Coordinate and prepare for external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings as needed.Monitor and improve financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in reporting.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis.Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, operations, IT) to support business needs and provide financial insights.Ensure proper tax filing and reporting, including compliance with federal, state, local tax regulations.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.Minimum of 5 -10 years of accountingfinance experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.We've got you covered.
