Description Salary Range: $115,000-$140,000*This role is exclusively on-site, requiring daily commutes to the office. We are seeking a dynamic individual passionate about community building, enrichment, and development to contribute to our mission of enhancing the quality of life in our vibrant and diverse community.The Assistant Director of IT Systems is responsible for leading the Sales Force Data Solutions team, by creating and executing the overall design of Sales Force data applications by aligning departmental program and business requirements with systemstechnical requirements; to effectively utilize the Sales Force platform throughout the Detroit Land Bank Authority.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Organization Wide Duties Establish organizational priorities that holistically address the specific system design needs of each DLBA department Manage all IT staff responsible for Salesforce and Financial Force system(s). Evaluate and maximize the skill set of individual team members and manage duties and workload accordingly. Key administrator responsible for the procurement and renewal of licenses for Salesforce and any related third-party software. Research, identify, and recommend business process improvements to leadershipData Governance Implement structural changes to the Salesforce database system for greater operational efficiency. Lead the process flow analysis and process redesign plan in conjunction with various departmental subject matter experts to continuously enhance internal operations Develop and implement inventory management processes that effectively interface with other Sales Force activity throughout all departments within the organization. Develop strategies and implement best practices to increase efficiencies in data sharing and collaboration between partner City of Detroit agencies. Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Administrative Services DirectorQUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in computer science, Urban Planning (with a focus on data manipulation), or related field, preferred. An equivalent combination of education or work experience, may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year for year basis. Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop and maintain working relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of staff Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with the Salesforce ecosystem Must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment Must be able to design and implement a project schedule and handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
