For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: A DAY IN THE LIFEWhile no two events are quite the same, here's what you can expect as a Culinary Supervisor -Responsible for preparing menu items for guest satisfactionFollow recipes to prepare and cook menu items using a variety of kitchen equipmentSupervise aspects of the food and beverage operation, including estimate food requirements based on event orders to implement the production planResponsible for assisting in training of new culinary team membersAssist the Culinary Department with administrative work including monthly inventoryEnsure compliance with food safety regulationsMaintain cleanliness of kitchen areas in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirementsEnsure compliance with Levy standards, policies, and proceduresAdapt to shifting event locations within the arenaPivot between tasks in a dynamic environment (never a dull moment!)Perform any other duties as assignedTHE PERFECT MATCHWe might be a great match if the below applies to you -Friendly & energetic individual ready to create memorable momentsComfortable operating in a loud, high-volume atmosphereDesire to cook (a lot) and sharpen your skillsKnowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentWork both independently and with a teamOrganized individual with strong leadership skillsSupervisory experience in a fast-paced dining or similar atmosphere requiredMaintain excellent attendance and able to work eveningweekend events as scheduledEnjoy free food (we'll feed you during every event shift) Job Summary Summary: Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages. Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use. Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste. Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures. Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback. Performs other duties as assigned.
