Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.Responsibilities:Greet guests, explains breakfast items using concise and descriptive languageListens and responds to guest's needsMaintains kitchen, storage, and front of house areas in a clean and presentable manner at all timesPrepares breakfast items using standard recipes and kitchen equipmentInventories breakfast items and provides order requirements to managerReceives deliveries and ensures items delivered match paperwork, reports any discrepancies to driver and managerMaintains and prepares food items in accordance with local health department standardsEngages guests throughout their visit in a friendly and caring mannerAssists guests with requests as appropriateComplies with all health and safety regulationsInteract with outside contacts:Guests - to ensure their total satisfactionOwners andor Principals - regarding operational updates and current issuesVendors - to resolve any vendor performance issues, etc.Regulatory agencies - regarding safety and compliance mattersOther contacts as needed (Professional organizations, community groups, local media)Qualifications:Minimum two experience in hotels, restaurants, or related fields in customer serviceExperience as server, busser, runner, host(es), or breakfast attendant preferredCertifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies (ServSafe, TIPS Certification) preferredMust speak English fluentlyMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsMathematical skills include basic math concepts, percentages and variances.
