Medical Assistant - Contract

General Skills and Competencies Ability to communicate effectively with multicultural and language-deficit patients Effective interpersonal and communications skills required Excellent telephone etiquette Proficient in medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines Knowledge of electronic medical record or billing systems preferred, but not required. Must be able to adapt to a growing and changing environment Education: High School DiplomaGED with completion of an approved Medical Assistant certificate course Licensing and Certification Requirements Medical Assistant certificate from an approved school BLS certification - Required Issuing Authority: AHA Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Monday-Friday 8-430 must be able to work one late night until 8pm Possible float to Family Medicine and ENT.
