CNC Machinist

In this role, you will be working as a CNC Machinist for a client in the food processing and packaging equipment industry. This position will be responsible for: Operating traditional manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and hand tools. Operate CNC Lathes and Mills. Interpret Engineering Drawings. This position is a Direct Hire role and is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site. $30 - $40 an hour salary range. Must be part of a union or willing to join. Mandatory pre-employment drug testing and background check. Job Requirements: Must enjoy programming machines from scratch using M codes and G codes without using software. Minimum of 5 years of operating manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools. Interpret engineering drawings. Possess solid math skills, including 3D space geometry. Prior CNC experience in programming and doing setups. Hours are 7am to 3:30pm. Overtime during busy times is required.
