Graco is part of your daily life.Where You'll Work - Contractor Equipment Division (CED)The Contractor Equipment Division makes sprayers that apply paint to walls and other structures, with product models for users ranging from do-it-yourself homeowners to professional paint contractors. Contractor equipment also includes sprayers that apply texture to walls and ceilings, highly viscous coatings to roofs, and line markings on roads, parking lots, athletic fields and floors.The future of CED is bright, with significant investments being made across the business; the division is expanding to accommodate increased demand and growth driven by an investment in new products and innovative ideas. With the global industry ramping up into high gear, CED is positioned to convert contractors accustomed to manually applying paint and other coatings by brush-and-roller to spray technology.Ready to join us?Job PurposeJoin Graco as an Electrical Engineering Intern! Build a versatile skillset by designing both hardware and software. You will work alongside our electrical engineers to write embedded firmware and control algorithms, design circuit boards, work with batteries and battery management, design user interfaces, iOS and Android apps. This intern position also involves providing ideas, input, and analysis as a project team member.What You Will Do at Graco Participate in new product development as a member of a design team by:Applying your engineering skills to solve problemsHelping with design analysis and root cause testingRunning tests to optimize performanceContributing to electrical hardware and software designParticipate in the standard product team by:Applying your engineering skills to solve problemsDetermine root cause of failures in the fieldDevelop, qualify, and implement solutions to problemsConsult with electrical manufacturers to resolve product issuesTroubleshoot issues on existing standard productsCreate and execute product qualification plansInteract daily on-site with team, including lab work, project meetings, and design discussionsConduct analysis of Graco and competitive productsWhat You Will Bring to Graco Pursuing BS degree in Electrical or Computer EngineeringStrong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programsinitiative to learn industry and project requirementsAccelerators Experience with various programming languages such as C, C+, and Python.Knowledge of electrical circuit design, specifically using Altium designer#LI-AI1At Graco, you truly make a difference.
