This role oversees established systems and processes that support the organization's mission, providing strategic guidance and operational excellence.We are seeking an experienced operations leader who can maintain compliance with institutional policies, drive strategic improvements to existing systems and processes, lead a high-performing team, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, enabling the organization to achieve its goals efficiently and effectively. Salary Range: $115,000 - 135,000; Depends on experienceEssential Duties:Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)Lead Learning Enterprise in all regular budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking processes at Learning Enterprise and for the University, overseeing diverse funding sources, including learner revenues, state appropriations, tuition, grants, unrestricted funds, and philanthropic contributions.Deliver actionable financial analyses and updates to Learning Enterprise and University leadership, offering strategic insights to drive decision-making.Ensure compliance with institutional fiscal guidelines to maintain financial stability and alignment with organizational objectives.Coordinate financial and payroll audits, ensuring all reviews are completed with zero material findings.Lead all aspects of the regular fiscal business cadence of the Learning Enterprise, including comprehensive salary planning, including hiring, promotions, and vacancy savings analysis.Human ResourcesOversee and drive strategic improvements to all HR processes, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, professional development and advancement, and performance cycles, ensuring consistency, fairness, and transparency.Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and behavioral coaching.Design, execute and implement key strategic HR projects in partnership with Department HR Manager to attract and retain talent, such as career advancement & professional development at all levels, compensation analysis, hiring excellence, and organizational culture-building efforts.Business OperationsLead the Business Operations team in all core responsibilities, including efficient spend processes in compliance with University policies, financial transfers to Academic Units, and invoicing to third party partners.Develop and implement policies for all spend areas such as travel, procurement, and operating budget spend, and support team in ensuring full organizational understanding.Serve as key approver and decision authority for high-level financial and operational matters, including travel, procurement, and HR matters.Additional leadership responsibilitiesServe as a trusted advisor and key partner to Learning Enterprise leadership, offering strategic insights on HR and financial matters to support organizational goals.Contribute to the Learning Enterprise strategic planning process (Objectives and Key Results), serving as a Key Result Owner where relevantRepresent Learning Enterprise in ASU and state, regional, and national organizations, boards, councils, and committees, upholding the organization's reputation and partnerships.Other duties as assigned, such as financial analysis work to support Learning Enterprise's transition to a core organizational focus on earned revenue by supporting solution lines to measure, and then design for, long-term financial sustainability (both in revenue and margin).Desired Qualifications:You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, lean-team environment and are a resourceful, creative and scrappy problem-solver, able to use the resources at hand to meet organizational needs.You have experience in leading Finance, HR, and Business Operations functionsYou have experience in HR and financial systems including Adaptive Planning, FMS Workday, HR Workday, Concur, Windows, Analytics, PCard Management, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, SAP-BPC, KenexaBrassring, SalesForce.You have a proven track record of creating user-friendly, "simple" analytical models that are easily understood and used by business leaders to drive decision-making.You are skilled in identifying levers to achieve revenue and profitability goals - finding the "so what's" of analyses You are a consummate relationship builder, with demonstrated ability to build deep trust across all levels of an organization and work cross-functionally to achieve goals.
