Job Type Full-timeDescriptionResponsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspection on gas furnaces, air handlers, air conditioners, heat pumps and make any necessary adjustments.Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, keeping the vehicle clean and organized.Maintain proper truck stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle.Understand company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoice at each home. Electronically process credit card payments.Have all required tools for a level I maintenance technician (See tool list).Travel to service calls and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer.Document all installed equipment: make, model, serial number, type of system and pictures as necessary.Identify potential opportunities: new systems, service agreements, and additional services offered by Estes.Participate in company provided meetings and training.Observe all company procedures and safety rules.Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.Stay up to date on latest trends and codes as it pertains to your job responsibilities.Be able to diagnose refrigerant, capacitor, contactor, and noise issues with all HVAC equipmentBe able to diagnose low voltage, high voltage and zoning issues. Be familiar with Greenspeed, and VS units. RequirementsRequirementsEducation:Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma or GED.Must have 1 - 2 years HVAC field experience.NATE certification is a plusEPA certification (Type II or universal).Trade School or Tech Builder required.Highly analytical person.Customer service skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writingMust be able to meet schedule and time lines.Must be able to work on mobile devices.Valid Georgia driver's license with clear driving record.Materials, methods and tools used in HVAC.Work independently with little direction.Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reachingRequires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulationsExposure to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and gases.Work from heights, and work in small placesAble to lift 50 lbs multiple times a day.Be in proper uniformTechnical Competencies:Be able to navigate a smart phone for mobile applicationsBe able to use, understand, and maintain all required toolsAdvanced industry or company knowledgeAdvanced HVAC, electrical, plumbing product and service knowledgeUnderstanding technical training when petencies Required:NegotiatingAbility to advise customers of potential issues and suggest upgrades to improve efficiency and indoor air quality productPriority SettingInterpersonal SavvyVery analytical personProblem solvingDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
