Admissions RepresentativeHondros College of NursingIndianapolis, INHondros College of Nursing is seeking an Admissions Representative for our Indianapolis, IN campus. This role is responsible for selectively screening, interviewing and enrolling prospective students and guiding them through the enrollment completion process.Responsibilities:Student RecruitmentConducts personal interviews to qualify prospective students and to explain the academic programs at Hondros College of Nursing; advises on requirements to meet Hondros College of Nursing's admissions requirementsActs in a liaison capacity with other campus departments to ensure that student enrollment is efficient and delivered with a high degree of customer servicesUnderstands and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the admissions department and Hondros College of NursingStudent ServicesUses all approved marketing and recruiting tools to educate prospective students about Hondros CollegeUses an active listening and consultative approach to create a value proposition aligning prospective student needs to the college and its offeringsCarefully assesses all prospective students to ensure that they have the potential, traits, characteristics, and meet the admissions criteria to qualify for admission considerationCompletes the applicant qualification process to determine student eligibility for admission by reviewing entrance examination scoresFully understands Hondros College of Nursing's financing sources to be able to convey basic program eligibility requirements; refers students to the financial aid department as appropriate to ensure the prospective student understands all financial optionsEnsures that satisfactory enrollment agreements are completed with each enrolled student in regard to proof of education, licensure, test scores, transferable courses and other enrollment variables that support students' enrollmentsParticipates as a team member of the campuses admissions department by understanding team dynamics, rules and principles; works diligently and willingly towards the department plan and objectivesParticipates and assists with on and off campus recruiting events; i.e. information sessions, collegecareer fairs, campus-based open houses and industry update meetingRequirements: Bachelor's Degree preferredThree years customer service experience andor sales related experience preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact with a variety of individuals at various organizational levelsAbility to identify and assess educational needs for prospective students and provide recommendationsAbility to identify and resolve escalated issues or recommend solutionsAbility to establish and meet deadlinesAbility to interpret federal and state regulations and ensure complianceAbout Us:Since 2006, Hondros College of Nursing has been graduating high-quality, work-ready nurses who enter the field with exceptional clinical, communication and collaborative skills.
