Activities Director

Prestige Gardens is now seeking a full-time Activity Director to join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen careers. The Activity Director will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents.Responsibilities of Activity Director:Develops, maintains and coordinates a monthly program of events and programsEstablishes and maintains on-going contacts with community organizations, churches, colleges, universities, cultural organizations and other useful resources for program development.Recruits, plans and manages volunteer opportunities for the communityManages, trains and develops staff and volunteersMakes marketing presentations for community outreach effortsWorks with marketing to assist in the planning of communityresident eventsCoordinates community outings to special events, lectures, for an active resident lifestyleOne-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet residentclient needsProjects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residentsclients, co-workers and the publicQualifications of Activity Director:At least two years of related experienceCollege degree strongly preferred.
