Maintenance Supervisor

CESAWS is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (Second Shift) Location: Louisville, KY Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour Temp-to-hire position Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance personnel on the second shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, including equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, and lean manufacturing implementation. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to respond promptly to equipment failures. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage maintenance personnel to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and minimal downtime. Diagnose and resolve equipment failures by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Troubleshoot, program, and document PLC control systems (Modicon, Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring circuits. Maintain and oversee electrical distribution systems (24V, 115V, 277V, 480V 3-phase). Develop, organize, and supervise preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment and facility systems. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, including machine guarding, lockouttag-out, and safe maintenance practices. Train, coach, and develop maintenance staff while enforcing policies and procedures. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure maintenance needs are met. Oversee capital projects for equipment and facility upgrades. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Experience: 5 to 8 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes and preventive maintenance controls. Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing concepts. Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and material planning systems. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency. Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work overtime and weekends on short notice. Must be able to travel for training, including overnight stays. Must pass a drug screen and background check.
