Job SummaryResponsible for translation of design requirements into analog and digital board designs - complete with component selection, simulation, schematic capture, layout, documentation and development of test procedures for avionics products.System integration to ensure proper functionof integrated boards in the intended platformReview of PCB layouts with Altium, PADS or Allegro - PCB layout experience is a plusAbility to interface with in-house manufacturing for production test support and troubleshootingEmphasis will be on a structured development process to meet DO-178C DO-254 guidelinesEducationPrevious ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, physics or related engineering fieldsExperience in design and implementation for aerospace applications. Familiarity with various data and power bus architectures and implementation of micro-processorsA minimum of seven years in board design, preferably from aerospace organizationSolid analytical skillsWorking knowledge of aerospace and FAA requirementsStrong analytical and communication skills for evaluating information and providing to the customerWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
