Job Title: Workday Business Analyst Location: Remote Certification: Workday Certification requiredSalary: $70-100hour based on experienceJob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Business Analyst with expertise in HCM Core and Compensation (Core andor Advanced Compensation) to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical industry. This role will support the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing management of the Workday HCM system, with a specific focus on HCM Core and Compensation modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday's features and functionality, particularly in relation to compensation management, and possess the ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions. This remote position may require occasional travel to client sites in NJ and Paris.Key Responsibilities: Configure and support Workday HCM Core, Compensation (Core & Advanced), and related modules to meet business needs. Analyze current business processes and work with stakeholders to design solutions that improve efficiency and scalability. Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of Workday HCM systems, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction. Work closely with HR, Compensation, and IT teams to gather business requirements, analyze workflows, and ensure system configurations align with business goals. Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure that the Workday system supports key processes, including compensation planning, merit cycles, bonus programs, and salary structures. Create and execute test plans for Workday configurations and functionality. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in Workday, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and identifying issues for resolution. Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports using Workday reporting tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics). Support the integration of compensation data with other HR and financial systems. Provide training to HR users on Workday functionality, especially around HCM Core and Compensation modules. Offer post-implementation support, assisting end-users with any issues, questions, or troubleshooting related to Workday functionality. Continuously monitor and evaluate Workday functionalities to identify opportunities for enhancements or optimizations. Stay up-to-date with Workday releases and industry best practices to recommend system improvements or new features. Required Qualifications: Workday Certification (mandatory). Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on HCM Core and Compensation (Core &or Advanced Compensation). Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a plus but not required. Strong understanding of Workday HCM functionality, especially in the areas of compensation management and data management. Strong proficiency with Workday HCM modules, specifically Core HCM, Compensation, and related features. Experience with Workday Reporting tools, including Workday Report Writer and Prism Analytics. Familiarity with Workday integrations and data interfaces (e.g., integration with external payroll systems). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Experience working in a cross-functional team and collaborating with HR, Compensation, and IT teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with compliance and data security is a plus due to high regulations in the pharmaceutical industry Additional Information: This is a remote position, with the possibility of travel to client sites in NJ or Paris for meetings and go-lives. Additionally, it may require work during business hours of the Paris time zone. Ideal candidates will be proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
