Assistant Construction Project Manager

Cleveland Construction is looking for a hard-working, reliable, Assistant Project Manager to join our commercial construction team! You will be expected to support the Project Manager in managing day to day operations of the project from the office, this work includes but is not limited to:SKILLSKNOWLEDGEPerform Quantity takeoffs for material ordering purposesEstimate and Budget data entry into Project Management SoftwareDrafting of Subcontract Scopes of Work, Change Orders, and Purchase Orders in Project Management SoftwareAssist CCI's Project Manager in the collection of Subcontractor Contract Documents and Attachments from SubcontractorsAssist the Project Manager in the Development of the Project Submittal LogCreate and Process Project SubmittalsAssist the Project Manager in Administering the Projects Quality Control ProgramAttend Project Meetings onsite or via Conference Call with Project ManagersAssist Project Manager and Field Staff with Tracking and Updating Progress in the Construction ScheduleAssist in Document Control and Maintenance of all Company required Forms, Reports, Policies, etc. Coordinate Material Deliveries between CCI's Field Staff and Material VendorsAssist the Project Manager in collection and review of Change Order PricingAssist CCI's Project Management Staff in Completing Other Tasks as DirectedREQUIREMENTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCE3+ years' experience of field management in the commercial construction industryReliable means of transportationPass E-VerifyPass pre-employment drug screenCOMPUTER TECHNOLOGYProficient in the use of personal computers including iPadtablet deviceKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related construction software (Timberline, Citrix a plus)Basic knowledge of uploading and managing web-based document storagePHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONSReliable transportation to and from the projectWillingness to travel andor relocate based on project locationAble to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.Able to access all areas of the job site that includes stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc.Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.Must be able to move, carry, or position items weighing up to 85 pounds.PAY$50,000 - $110,000EMPLOYEE BENEFITSCleveland Construction, Inc. offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, 401K, training and development, opportunity for advancement and corporate support for field operations.Military Friendly EmployerWe value the knowledge, skills and abilities you acquired in the military.
