1st shift CNC Machinist Lathe - Akron, OH #25-00919 Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00HR We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for their growing 1st shift.Responsibilities : Include editing, setting up, and operating the CNC machine Maintaining quality and safety standards, record-keeping, and equipment maintenance. The position offers competitive wages and benefits and is full-time permanent. Proficient in lathe abilities such as turning, boring, drilling, tapping, and threading. Maintain company and customer quality standards. Set up CNC machines with minimal assistance, installing tools and indicating parts. Load raw material and verify settings by measuring positions Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Demonstrate constructive communication and problem-solving skills Adhere to safety guidelines and use proper tools and gauging Apply geometry and trigonometry knowledge to machining Complete machining work as required, following proper sequence of operations Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Five years of CNC lathe experience Ability to read and understand blueprints and follow instructions Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication, self-motivation, and teamwork Ability to liftmaneuver up to 50 lbs regularly.
