If you are considering a new opportunity, we encourage you to check us out.Position Purpose Partners with the business to provide analytics to create the annual plan and updated quarterly forecasts. Assists with financial reporting to senior management, creates scenario-based modeling forecasts and ad hoc analysis. Consults senior management on budget and forecasting decisions, investigates discrepancies and other areas of concern regarding financial information, and recommend corrective action. This position will oversee revenue recognition, gross profit calculation, accounting for fixed assets, sales tax, commissions as well as reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting.ResponsibilitiesManages the staff accountant functions in the day-to-day performance of their job, providing leadership and support.Ensures the team is meeting process goals, deadlines, and objectives.Assist and support external audits, wage and tax reporting, and other required reviews.Executes monthly forecast to actual reporting, financial forecast planning ad-hoc analysis and various updating of company teracts with project managers and department heads in accumulating and analyzing financial data.Consults senior management on budget and forecasting decisions. Compiles financial information for use in actual monthly forecast to actual reporting, planning and analysis, and assisting with managing and communicating information.Assists in establishing and managing quarterly forecasts and annual plans by supporting analytics and variance analysis to budget owners and senior vestigates discrepancies and other areas of concern regarding financial information and recommends corrective action.Accumulates data and reports on weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators in multiple platforms.Prepares charts and graphs for inclusion with quarter to date forecast information.Assists all departments regarding financial performance inquiries and reporting needs.Develops ad hoc reports and communicates information effectively with peers and senior management.Assists in the development of standardized reporting pletes various financial projects as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficiency in MS Office including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charting, formulas, and working with large data sets).Able to assimilatecreate procedures and communicate effectively throughout organization.Familiar with planningforecasting concepts and modeling with particular attention to industry best practices.Excellent communication and organizational fortable presenting financial data to senior managers in meetings and via presentations.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize.Problem solving ability independently and within a team environment.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to show initiative and adapt to rapid change in a fluid and flexible environment.Leadership skills required with ability to motivate staff towards excellence and achievement through setting expectations, coaching, supporting, managing performance, and hiring.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. MBA or CPA is preferred depending on experience.5 + years of relevant experience required.1+ years supervisory experience preferred.Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.Experience with ERP systems, financial planning, and reporting software - Adaptive Planning.Experience with industry projects and long-term construction accounting financial practices.Experience in analyzing, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and forward-looking problem solving.GAAP and managerial reporting terpersonal Contacts We are an ITAR protected facility and due to the nature of your role, you may encounter ITAR related project information. Your citizenship status will determine what access you have at the facility.External to DWFritzResponsible for creating and maintaining high-quality working relationships with external contacts. Contacts will consist of external auditors and banking institutions, software representatives, vendors, and ternal to DWFritzResponsible for creating and maintaining high caliber team working relationships with internal staff. Contacts will consist of peers, middlesenior management, and cross functional teams.
