Department: Pulmonary 7D Unit Capacity: 23 Beds Population Served: Patient with following diagnosis: PneumoniaCOPDSleep ApneaMedical TelemetryGeneral Medical Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 6:1 Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. QUALIFICATIONS EOW; EOH; PCU Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience required; may need to float to sites within 40 miles if needed Diploma from an accredited schoolcollege of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Travel Register Nurse. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training (CPI) Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
