You will gain experience through hands-on learning opportunities, mentoring, and access to multiple development opportunities. You will be an integral member of our team and use your relevant experience to contribute to our equity capital raising capabilities, in an exciting and fast-growing Equity Capital Markets franchise. We are seeking proactive, professional, and collaborative individuals to join our team. will work as a generalist (non-sector specific) within a team of experienced ECM professionals and will have extensive exposure within the bank and with clients. In addition to the usual responsibilities expected of an Analyst, the successful candidate will be expected to: Execute public Equity Capital Markets transactions for issuer and sponsor clients, including initial public offerings and follow-on offerings Assist senior bankers in preparation for client engagement, such as drafting of presentations for pitches and RFPs Generate new content and thought pieces relevant to the Equity Capital Markets and industry trends Collaborate with internal product and industry coverage teams, sales and trading, equity syndicate, and legal Draft internal committee memorandums in advance of transaction launches Prepare analysis for issuer and sponsor clients, such as equity market insight, shareholder targeting, and precedent transactions Profile requiredQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: At least a year of experience in investment banking, accounting, consulting, private equity, hedge fund or corporate finance is a plus Keen interest in the Equity Capital Markets and desire to learn about transaction execution Excellent mathematical, writing, communication, and computer skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage expectations of senior bankers while working on multiple projects simultaneously Effective and highly organized process management skills, with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word. Familiarity with Factset and Bloomberg SIE, Series 79 and Series 63 certifications.
