Emergency Billing SpecialistWhat We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Billing Specialist within our Lodging division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS or Schaumburg, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts and processing all invoices for our clients. The Billing Specialist will have highly developed customer service, data entry, analytical, and reconciliation skills. You will report directly to the Billing Supervisor.How We WorkAs a Billing Specialist, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in Wichita, KS or Schaumburg, ILFormal, hands-on trainingRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Completing the invoice process of data entry, account credit card and payment reconciliation, bill run, and reportingMaintaining an open commitment report to ensure billings from vendors are received timely from vendors for services providedDeveloping and maintaining a professional relationship with vendors and clientsAuditing invoices from vendors against database reservations from clients to ensure contractual accuracyCommunicating with vendors to collect documentation and ensure accuracyCommunicating and resolving any discrepancies between the reservation and invoiceParticipating in conference calls with vendors and clients on the billing procedureMaintaining trackers and stat sheets as requiredTracking client payments to ensure timelinessProviding reports to internal managementParticipating in staff meetingsWorking on special projects when assigned by managementAdditional duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experienceExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExcellent MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Internet, 10-key and typing skillsExperience with Google mail and docsExceptional analytical and reconciliation skillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions, and decimalsOutstanding multi-tasking and prioritization skillsProven ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customersAbility to work independently and as a contributing team memberStrong listening skillsTime management skillsAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsAbility to understand and carry out instructionsBenefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hireAutomatic enrollment into our 401k plan (subject to eligibility requirements)Virtual fitness classes offered company-wideRobust PTO offerings including: major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, & volunteer timeEmployee discounts with major providers (i.e. wireless, gym, car rental, etc.)Philanthropic support with both local and national organizationsFun culture with company-wide contests and prizesEqual OpportunityAffirmative Action EmployerCorpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
