HVAC Technician

A leading provider of residential home services is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their Home Services Team in Harrisburg, PA. Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Installation, maintenance, service, andor repair of HVAC Systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and other related equipment- Inspection and assessment of HVAC systems for performance issues, identifying problems and providing recommendations for repairs or replacements- Serving as a trusted advisor to recommend appropriate upgrades- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of HVAC system malfunctions, using specialized tools and equipment- Routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels- Installation and repair of ductwork, as needed, to ensure proper airflow and ventilation- Testing of HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently- Exceptional customer service, answering questions, and explaining repairs or maintenance recommendations to customers- Accurate record-keeping of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered- Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment- Compliance with OSHA guidelines- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development- Promotion and adherence to building, job site, and department procedures and policies- Maintenance of a clean, organized, and mechanically sound company-provided service vehicle- Compliance with the company's uniform and appearance policy, NFPA 70E regulations, and the operation of a company vehicle for service or installation jobsJob RequirementsKey Requirements:- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D.- Operating knowledge of HVAC system- Equivalent technical school or work experience- Five or more years of experience in related trade- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required- EPA Universal & Refrigeration CertificationBenefits:- 100% Employee Owned and Operated - Employees earn ownership share that can provide retirement income- 100% Employer paid Short Term Disability- 100% Employer paid Life Insurance Policy- 100% Employer paid Medical Benefits- Dental Insurance option available- Structured bonus plan- On Going Training Opportunities- Potential Professional and Personal Growth Opportunities- Paid Time Off (PTO)- Paid Holidays- Additional 401K Retirement Options Available- Company provided tablet and phone
