ESOP contribution is targeted at 6% of your annual pany paid Paternity & Maternity Leave.Generous time off plansMultiple benefit plans, eligible day one of employment."Live and work like a DMA Employee-Owner": We focus on worklife balance, mental health, and the overall wellness of our employees.Position SummaryThe Compliance Auditor will support leadership in the personal property compliance review process by reviewing and approving returns, funding, bills, check requests, and reports.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview and approve returns prepared by team membersDocument filingreporting errors and communicate inconsistencies with Analyst and SupervisorManagerReview and approve exception reports submitted weekly by Analysts and ensure PTCA is updated accordinglyReview and approve funding's prepared by Analysts prior to submitting to clientReview and approve Tax BillsCheck Requests in PTMS, OneSource & PowerPlanCreate AP exports out of PTMS, OneSource & PowerPlan for PTCA and SolomonRelease Check Batches and Request for Checks to be printed through SolomonReview and approve client billings and return mailer packetsReview tax payments exceeding $10,000 prior to mailingMonitor PTCA database for both internal and jurisdictional deadlines ensuring department is meeting tasks timely and monitor internal controlsNon-Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPresent completed returns to management for review by assigned due datePrepare tax payments on behalf of clients for jurisdictional liabilitiesMonitor and review all jurisdictional tax notices for assigned clients by assigned due dateMonitor and review the analyst's scan's folders to ensure items are being broken out in a timely mannerPerform other duties as assignedEducation and QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field3+ years' experience with DMA or in a similar position in the taxaccountingauditing industryAbility to work well under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to be assertive with other employees to ensure deadlines are metOrganization and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environmentIntermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordPTMS (Property Tax Management System) experience and technical tax background preferred#LI-JS1#LI-ONSITE
