We offer the opportunity to learn and grow with our hospital. Some responsibilities of veterinary assistants include:Perform basic lab workClean, sterilize and maintain kennels, exam rooms, cages and surgical equipmentWalking patientsComfortably restrain pets during examinations and proceduresPerform some clerical duties including:Medical record entryPresenting patient care plans (PCP's) with clientsChecking clients in and out of the hospital Assist Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT) with treatments on patients including:PEG Tube feedingsCryotherapyPassive range of motionHyperbaric oxygen therapy * Placement and maintenance of IV cathetersAssisting with monitoring and recovery of surgical patientsPost-operative patient care and dischargingAssist specialist with appointments RequirementsExperience with animals is preferred.Job Type: Full-time, Part-TimeSalary: starting from $18hourSalary Description starting from $18hour
