Sr Chemical Process Engineer HYBRID REMOTE Available Tulsa OK$110,000 - $164,000 + 10% Bonus + Full Benefits Including HYBRID REMOTE + 401K w company match up to 14% + Paid Relocation Available (No Sponsorship)Looking for a senior level chemical engineer with experience in process simulation, operation, and process safety management in midstream processing facilities including Gas Processing and NGL Fractionation or Petroleum Refining. The role will serve as a technical lead to support our capital projects business segment with focus on project development and performing engineering activities related to design, procurement, construction, or optimization of company assets including NGL fractionation, natural gas processing andor hydrocarbon storage facilities. The technical lead will provide engineering assistance on matters including equipmentsystem design (Relief valve and Flare design sizing) and Process Safety Management (Process Hazzard Analysis and Layers of Protection Analysis).SummaryDirects and performs an advanced level of engineering andor project management duties related to one or more functional areas that may include: pipeline system planning and analysis, gathering system operation; gas and liquids measurement, gas analysis, and measurement station design; processing andor storage facility operation; andor estimating, designing, and coordinating construction projects.ResponsibilitiesDirect andor perform engineering andor project management activities related to design, procurement, construction, or optimization of company assets including but not limited to:Transmission andor gathering systems, measurement and regulation facilities, compressor and pump stations and dehydration plantsNGL fractionation, natural gas processing andor hydrocarbon storage facilitiesConstruction plans and implementationManagement of third-party contract resourcesProvide technical andor engineering assistance on matters including but not limited to:Equipmentsystem designPipeline sizing and evaluationPipeline controlPipeline facility design, construction, operation, and maintenancePolicies and proceduresProcess SafetyPerform and review project management activities including but not limited to:Bid proposals and contractsAFE preparation and cost managementManagement of Change (MOC)Materialequipment specifications and selectionConstruction plans and supportCreating and updating schedules timelinesPreparing project progress and other reportsManaging change ordersIdentify equipment efficiencies, complete hydraulic calculations, determine valve and pipeline sizing and perform gas flow analysis.Research, analyze, prepare andor approve information including but not limited to:Engineering studiesGovernmental rules, regulations, codes and standardsPipeline andor measurement system analyses and recommendationsHydrocarbon processing andor measurement bid proposalsConstruction andor measurement contractsCost estimatesMaterial specificationsselectionsMake recommendations for improvements related to capacity, operating costs, and system operationEvaluate proposed projects by conducting load studiesAnalyze various measurement system designs and make recommendations for improvements related to station capacity and operating costs, to increase accuracy of measurement system and downstream reporting systemsPerform economic analysis related to potential new projects, including but not limited to operational cost estimates, determining equipment efficiencies, and needed enhancements and conducting definitive studies for potential acquisitionsIdentify opportunities for improvement and develop and implement new processes as requested my management, with limited supervisionAnticipate changes in work demands and identify assignments or training to meet those demandsOversee utilization of manpower and equipment resourcesAssess, schedule, and prioritize projects on customer needs and value to the organizationMay have oversight of employees engaged in field operations, construction andor project management functionEducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field and the following job-related experience preferredExperienceExperience and knowledge of engineering design and criteria for natural gas andor NGLs in pipeline systemsExperience at this level is typically attained with seven or more years of experience in engineering, operations andor project managementExperience achieving goals and developing employeeteam strengths, exhibiting a positive example and influence that leads to employee, project, and stakeholder successesExperience in use and function of applications such as: Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc.Experience researching and preparing project materials and design specifications, contracts, agreements, budgets, engineering studies, and other relevant reports, forms, and correspondenceExperience identifying, researching, understanding, evaluating, and prioritizing operational problems and coordinating appropriate actionresponseExperience with and knowledge of pipelines or hydrocarbon processing and related facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenanceMust Have•Experience in operations or design of hydrocarbon facilities (Gas Plants, Fractionation plants, Chemical Plants or Refineries)•Experience in with Process Safety Management (PSM) including Process Hazzard Analysis (PHA)•Experience in simulation modeling (ASPEN, HYSIS, andor ProMax)Preferred•Good communication skills both with technical and operational members•Good Teamwork skills•Relief systems, Sulfur treating,
